Il s'agit d'un câble de raccordement en fibre optique duplex jaune de 1 m, SC (mâle) coudé vers LC (mâle) coudé. OS2 est une fibre optique monomode standard couramment utilisée avec des longueurs d'onde de 1 310 nm et 1 550 nm (9/125 microns), et présente une atténuation maximale de 1 dB/km. La norme OS2 est définie dans la norme ISO/IEC 11801. Ce câble de raccordement en fibre optique non conducteur (OFNR) est particulièrement adapté aux applications intérieures à fibre optique. Un câble duplex est un câble de raccordement en fibre optique à deux brins qui fonctionne mieux avec les émetteurs-récepteurs qui transmettent et reçoivent à la fois.
